LP3

(Lawrence E. Pouliot III) started rhyming in 1999 as an original member of Highly Unlikely with fellow alaskan emcees Phonetic and Micelph. He has now recorded 16 tracks for his solo album “TheProblemchild”, and is still working on several more.

A devoted member of Homeskillet records, he has been in the studio with Silver Jackson, to whom he owes for all his progress in becoming more then just writer, but a recording artist. With boxes of notebooks filled with lyrics, yet only a handful of recorded songs (highly unlikely’s “the birth”) LP3 was falling off the map, thanks to Nick Glannin a.k.a. Silver Jackson’s time and studio equipment there is still a chance that the life long underdog may be heard.

All though 27 years old, Lp3 goes by the alias “The Problem Child” because ” Most of my problems are a direct result of me being childish, I wish i could say that I’m young at heart or that I don’t want to grow up, but the truth is I am just learning life at much slower pace then everybody else. I tend to do figure out what is right by doing it wrong several times over.” This may explain why most of LP3’s music is about overcoming past mistakes including drugs, infidelity and a host of other dumb shit he has done in the last ten years. ”

It feels like 99% of emcees are busy building themselves up and want to be portrayed as gods, I concentrate my music more on the fact that I am human, I fuck up all the time. I figure that there must be an audience out there that can relate to that.”
