I'm not saying musicians shouldn't make money off recordings - but for those to choose to pirate, it's not that they won't pay, it's that it is convenient to pay while they're actually listening to and enjoying a song. It's no payments or a system like this for pirated music - I don't think I have ever heard of another option, other than, "let's sue them." - which again, is so smart.
