The HomeSkillet Records Blog
The Recording Industry Association of America

Looking at something like this made my jaw drop. Part of the whole sue the fan things I can understand in some draconian sort of way. But then to, “burn the candle at both ends” and take money away from the recording artists, that’s just nuts.
Sooner or later a new generation of artists will come through who are keen to the whole do-it-yourself promotion, and if not, there is a whole lot of geeks out there who are more than willing to hook up with a band and help them get their names out. A MySpace page, no problem. A blog, no problem.
The greed of the RIAA is unbelievable sometimes. You shouldn’t piss in the well you drink from. When are the artists going to wake up and rebel? Go Lars! Make up for all the stupid things you’ve said!
Homegrown. Homebrew. HomeSkllet.
