Circle Hook
“When Chuck Norris jumps in the water, he doesn’t get wet, the water gets Chuck Norris’d.”
That pretty much sums up Circle Hook. They take a whole range of styles and songs and flip them upside down into what makes Circle Hook music and their fans go crazy. They have a tendency to do mash-ups of covers on stage blending Sublime with The White Stripes, and whatever other crazy concoctions bubble up out of lead singer/guitarist Korrey Calorie’s head.
They played an hour set to the ever-growing crowd and certainly pleased all who were lucky enough to catch them.
Jerrod Galanin (Manager) and Dan Littlefield (Bass) helped HomeSkillet Records so much by donating their time to make the show happen. Roy’s Electric in Sitka was also kind enough to donate time and equipment.
So not only does the band Circle Hook kick ass (like Chuck Norris), the guys in the band do as well. Much love.
