HomeSkillet Fest Tent Setup

As anyone who is in Sitka knows, it has been raining non-stop on the days leading up to the fest. My count was up to five days straight the last I checked. We were waiting for a break in the weather to get the tent setup, unfortunately the break never came and we were forced to set the tent up Wednesday before, “The Appetizer,” and then a late night session after.

The folks who came out and helped, I can’t thank enough. It’s the support like that which makes the festival happen. Dan Littlefield has been the go to guy for HomeSkillet Fest both this year and last year and we are very grateful for him and a handful of others that were key to getting all this done.

What follows is some pictures of us setting up the tent last night in the pouring down rain. While it was tough, we were in good spirits because we know it’s a means to a justified end.
