Jake La Botz

This is our second year having Jake come to HomeSkillet Fest, so when I bumped into him on Thursday night we immediately recognized eachother and said hello. It has been an interesting thing to be a part of, this second annual HomeSkillet Fest. Jake has been right there with us, seeing number one and number two. As usual with Jake, I got the impression he was enjoying himself. We all sat down in front of the fire during Luke Temple’s set. It was a good moment.

Jake followed Sonny Smith on Friday night with a long set. I wasn’t counting, but it seemed to be around two and a half hours. As Jake continues to grow his fan base in Sitka, it was a treat for all to have him there again. Same as last year, Jake did an interview which added layers to the character of Jake La Botz. His set had people completely attentive and dancing well past midnight. Sitkans love good music!
